Animation Assignment #5

For this assignment you will work in groups (the ones assigned for blogging, grads will be their own group) to create an Exquisite Corpse.

An Exquisite Corpse was a technique utilized by the Surrealists, where several people contributed words or images which were then assembled to create a collaborative project. The Exquisite Corpse is not just a game it is a creative process, one that becomes dynamic work of art as each successive addition interacts with the piece that came before it and what follows.

Each member of the group will create 10 – 20 frames of animation. The first person in the group will give the last frame of his/her sequence to the next person who will then create 10-20 frames, and so one until everyone in the group is done animating. You will then get together as a group to put the pieces together, add titles and sound if you so desire. Final films should be uploaded on youtube or vimeo and the link sent to Dr. Leigh before class on April 14^th.
